And voila! My first page as a Twisted Sister! This week's sketch had a twist..."rough". Boy was this twist ROUGH for me to work with! I couldn't decide if I wanted to use the word "rough" or use a technique. Instead, I decided to use rough as a texture. This is a photo of our friend, Dan (middle), on his wedding day. My darling husband is on the right in his dress blues, looking awesome as always and another friend of Dan's on the left.
The title, "Brother", is by American Crafts. The Thickers are "Roller Rink". The tie-dye flowers were a really cool find. I got them at The Melon Patch scrapbooking store in Utah. I just thought they were so cool!! Patterned paper is by the always awesome, Basic Grey "Black Tie" line. The compass transparency by Me & My Big Ideas is layered on some lime green cardstock by DCWV. The green border is K & Company "Serendipity". The purple "wholey" border underneath is this AWESOME stuff, Punchinella. It's an awesome element to use if you like something a bit funky and different. The little black flowers are just a generic item I picked up in bulk from Michael's. And finally, the arrow hinges are by 7 Gypsies.
You should come check us out at Twisted Sketches for some great ideas....with a "twist". The girls there are super talented and it's always a lot of fun to see what they come up with!
