I came across an AWESOME sketch site through another amazingly talented lady, Nancy. The site, TwistedSketches.com, comes up some amazing ideas and for a little pizazz, add a "twist" that you need to incorporate into the project. Now I have browsed COUNTLESS sketch sites and just haven't found that "ziiiing"....until this I visited this site! I encourage you all to go and take a look and see what inspires you!
This is my interpretation of a sketch at TwistedSketches.com. The twist for this sketch was "music" any way it inspires you. The pp is American Crafts (Teen). The CS is DCWV "Bright Stack". The flowers are Prima and the felt border is Queen and Co. "Felt Fusion". I stamped the title with a stamp by Daisy Bucket and A Muse using American Crafts "Zing" glitter powder and a heat tool. I love the way the little Maya Road acrylic sheers look so I threw in a couple of those into the embellie cluster. My "gotta have" technique is chalked edges. I used Colorbox Cat's Eye "Antique" chalk queue, "Charcoal" to dress up the edges. I love this technique because for some reason, I have this handicap and CANNOT cut a straight line to save my life (yes, even with a paper trimmer)!!!
The photo is of me and my wonderful husband, Romy. We decided to go out with some friends to LA and get silly with the camera. Who says adults can't ham it up? ;)
