**Edited to add: This tin is being featured on the Technique Tuesday blog today, 1/12/12! Please go check out their blog and their amazing stamps!**
Good evening, my fellow mavens! I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend so far. I know after a CRAZY busy weekend last week, we kept it pretty low key this week. Just keep your eyes peeled. I will be updating you on my newest and most exciting artsy adventure yet!
But before I get to that, I'm going to show you what I did to try and break the chains of this INSANE creative R U T I've been in. All I wanted to do was walk away for a while. But, we all know we just can't WALK AWAY! Sooooooo, I decided to use the awesome "Harlequin" background stamp by Techinque Tuesday (sent to me by my very good friend, the awesomely fabulous Cassie) and some alcohol inks on an old 7 Gypsies tin I've had in my stash for a couple years. And THIS is what I came up with:
With some fabulous Gauche Alchemy Punchinella, a few items from the red, white, and black mixed media color kits, some ZVA Creative bling, and a Prima floral stem, I dressed up this tin quite right!

I also made this wonderful accordion flower using some Ouchless Cardboard, Red Velvet glimmer mist, and ZING embossing powder.

Here's a little comparison of an undressed accordion flower and a dressed one.
Now for the "big adventure" I alluded to earlier. I am no longer a "design team" member for Gauche Alchemy. I am now a co-owner and partner! I now handle the "logistical" side of things for Gauche Alchemy and am looking forward to helping the rest of the Gauche Mamas take things to the next level!
I know! Exciting right?! Talk about an ADVENTURE!! I will still make projects and get creative because THAT is in my bloooooood.
Cheers!
