It's that time of year where people start thinking of candy, orange leaves, witches, skulls, and Day of the Dead. May Arts teamed up with Faber-Castell and boy did we get to play! This is a week-long event so be sure to check the May Arts blog for the full line up.
I decided to bust out my stash of Gelatos and my PITT pens and paint. My Mexican Skull mask from The Crafter's Workshop was perfect for what I had in mind. Besides, who didn't love paint by number books when they were a kid?
I used a variety of Gelato colors for every aspect of this piece. I did the outlining using a PITT brush pen as well as a PITT fine point pen. To finish off my boring, miscolored, UGLY edges, I decided to hide them under some Striped Grosgrain ribbon (336-15-10).
Be sure to hop on over to Charlene's blog and leave some love along the way! Consider this grown-up trick or treating!
Cheers!
