Hey everyone! As some of you may know, I am a quiet follower of A Million Memories kit club. They have the awesomest (and yes, that's a word now because I said so!) kits and they are so versatile. Unfortunately, my subscription ran out some time ago and the hubs is a bit "meh" about me renewing it (wink). However, that does not stop me from ogling and drooling over what they put out. Not to mention, the artists over there are A-MAZING-UH!
Well, this month, I've decided to "take the plunge", head first mind you, and try out one of their challenges. This month's sketch and color palette was a bit out of what I'm used to, but it was a great challenge to try! I had fun doing this one and I really like the end result. I didn't have the EXACT colors that were shown in the palette so I used what I felt were the closest. I used Sassafras Lass's "Indie Girl" and some fantastic trim from AMM that I have been hoarding...er...holding on to...for that special page that warranted its gracing the paper.

Below are some nice close ups that show the textures, details, and dimension.
Yes, that is MY HANDWRITING on that note tag! Those of you who know me well know that I despise journaling and writing on my pages. It's not that I suck at it, because I don't. I just don't want to be bothered with it! These photos were taken in front of the animal display at the Cabella's store in Lehi, Utah. The kids had a blast..as you can tell by the photos. They are truly hams when it comes to picture taking!
I was pleasantly surprised at how easily I was able to work this sketch and get what was in my head out onto paper. Trust me. That usually doesn't happen so easily in my world! This page is most definitely, one of favorites.
Products used include Sassafras Lass "Indie Girl" and alphas, A Million Memories trim, Recollections flowers, and an old antique button from my mom's button stash (which got passed down to me....YUM!).
Thank you for taking a look-see and as usual, LOVE is MUCHO appreciated! Spread it around and don't be shy....because I'm not shy!
